Muni 3 will star Taapsee & Lawrence

It appears that the cast and crew selection process for Raghava Lawrence's sequel to Muni and his hit film, Kanchana (Muni 2) is progressing rapidly. Apparently Taapsee has been roped in to play the heroine. Her last outing in Tamil was Vandhan Vendraan with Jiiva.

 She has been busy with her Telugu films, Marenthaen Mannithaen with Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu and her Bollywood film, Chashmee Buddoor directed by David Dhawan. She is also a part of the untitled Ajith – Vishnuvardhan movie where she is supposedly paired opposite Arya. 

Vijay Antony will be doing the music for Muni 3. The ace music director made an impact earlier this year with Naan, which was his debut film as a hero. Muni 3 will be launched in December and shooting will commence in January 2013.
